The Space of Life
The open heart of the villa: living, kitchen, dining and games gathered under one cathedral-height roof, the whole room turned toward the ocean and the sunset.
Step inside and the ceiling lifts to nearly seven metres, the far wall dissolves into floor-to-ceiling glass, and the Gulf of Thailand is simply there in front of you. This is the kind of open-plan living space families come to Koh Phangan for: one continuous space where the sofas, the long dining table and the island kitchen all face the same horizon, so no one is ever turned away from the view.
The layout keeps the group together while giving the day its own rhythm. Morning coffee at the island kitchen, a slow lunch at the dining table, an afternoon over the pool table, ping pong, the poker table, giant chess or darts, and the home theater for the hours after dark. Cooks, talkers and players share one room without crowding it, because the cathedral ceiling and the glass give every corner light and air.
When the glass slides back, the boundary between inside and out disappears: the living area opens straight to the terrace and the infinity pool on the edge of the slope, and the sunset moves through the whole volume. It is the space where the villa is at its most social, and its most quietly spectacular.
