This policy explains how The Dreaming View Villa (“we”) handles personal data you provide when you contact us. We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and host your stay.

When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter in the form: your name, email address, optional phone/WhatsApp, requested dates, number of guests, and your message.
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange your stay. The legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to a request you initiated (pre-contractual steps).
Enquiries are stored in our booking system and trigger a notification email to the host. Email is delivered through our mail provider. We do not sell your data. Because the villa is in Thailand, your data may be processed there.
By default the site loads only the essential functionality needed to display pages. With your consent — the banner shown on your first visit — we enable Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. It sets analytics cookies and records usage data with your IP address anonymised. If you choose “Necessary only” no analytics cookies are set, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.
The villa film on the home page is hosted on YouTube, and nothing is requested from YouTube until you choose to play it: before you click, the page shows only our own photograph, and YouTube sets no cookies and receives no data about your visit. When you start the film, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and technical details of your device, and may store data on it under Google’s own privacy policy. We use YouTube’s no-cookie player address, which limits this to what playback requires.
We keep enquiry data while we correspond with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability of your data. To exercise any right, email us at the address on the site. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
